| | | Job Description | | In collaboration with MoH and WHO, establish standard data collection and reporting mechanisms from general and high risk populations for communication reach and outcomes, including analysis of non-polio AFP and polio case profiles, reasons for missed children, and other relevant epidemiological, campaign or communication variables, with emphasis on identifying trends, relationships and patterns among communication variables and outcomes, such as channel and source of information or other social, cultural or demographic characteristics, correlated with campaign outcomes.
Leads the polio communication team in establishing methodologies to demonstrate results of communication interventions on social variables and to correlate outcomes and show impact on campaign or routine immunization coverage.
Supports the capacity development of provincial and district teams in the use of data to develop and evaluate communications interventions.
Provide technical guidance to UNICEF and partners for collection and reporting of EPI and polio eradication reporting / tracking mechanisms.
Provide technical support to government counterparts to build capacity in social research, data collection and interpretation for communication and social mobilization support for polio and EPI.
Provides data analysis and inputs for presentations and reports in the forms of
graphs and general interpretation of findings for presentations, reports and updates. | | | Required Skills | | LANGUAGES (Indicate the language requirements.)
Fluency in written and spoken English. Knowledge of the local working language an asset.
