Under the overall supervision of Country Programme Director and direct supervision of Senior Programme Coordinator and the Programme Coordinator the Short Term Consultant will provide program support services ensuring high quality, accuracy and consistency of work.
- Support the KP Program team through regularly undertakingmonitoring visits to Implementing Partners in KP and FATA
- capacity enhancement of the staff of Women Empowerment Wing- FATAsecretariat and Women Desk PDMA on
· National and international commitments of government of Pakistan related to women-CEDAW
· Laws related to women
· Management of event, workshop, seminar and training arrangement
· Record keeping and documentation
· Report writing and project specific documentation
· Work-plan development,
· Budgeting, organization and reporting of activities
· Correspondence
· Management/administration and MS office
· Ensure all actives are carried out per work plan in close collaboration with UN WOMEN KP/FATA
· Any other activity that will be designated by the program coordinator KP/FATA
- Provides effective support to Senior Programme Coordinator KP/FATA focusing on Women Empowerment Wing-FATA secretariat and Women Desk PDMA:
· Provide Assistance and support to the Programme Coordinator KP/FATA in processing the contractual agreements
· Coordinate with implementing partners and finance section ensuring timely submission of partner progress reports (narrative and financial) and timely release of installments.
· Maintain Communication/documentation including preparing reports, briefs, letters, minutes of the meetings
· Update regularly on work plan and programme calendar
· Facilitate logistics as well as programme related arrangements for conducting consultations, expert group meetings and other events with stakeholders in close liaison with Operations team
· Maintain confidential, policy, program and general management files. Responsible for the office filing, E-filing and retrieval system and the coordination of the reminder system with other staff
· Provide any other support to the CPD and SPC when required
4. Provides Administrative support to the Programme Unit
· Maintain and update database of contact details of all partners - Govt, INGOs, NGOs, Parliament/Caucus and donors
- Supportsknowledge building and knowledge sharing focusing on
achievement of the following results:
· Participation in the trainings for the operations/ programme staff on programme.
· Contributions to knowledge networks and communities of practice.
· Planning of events (conferences, meetings, group discussions/consultations)
· International missions, dinners, events, meetings etc
· Coordination with implementation partners, different stake holders, government partners and consultants
