  Job Description

Under the Overall Supervision of the Regional Representative for West and Central Asia and under the direct supervision of Regional Resource Management Officer (RRMO) the incumbent will be responsible for:-

1. Ensure that visitors are directed to the proper office/staff member. Security Officer.

2. Record, maintain and update the telephones indexes.

3. Maintain a log of all outgoing and incoming mails/Pouches and to prepare and submit the monthly bills of the courier services.

4. To maintain faxes record of out going and incoming.

5. Answer all incoming telephone calls and direct them to the concerned. In case of absence of staff member maintain log of the messages. All callers should be requested to leave their name, title, telephone number and, as appropriate, information concerning the subject of their call.

6. Unusual circumstances should be brought to the attention of the RR/RRMO/OIC and the Security Focal Point immediately.

7. To maintain the attendance record of the staff members. Focal point for mission time keeper.

8. Such other duties as may be assigned by RR or direct supervisor.

  Required Skills
Desirable qualifications
(Education, experience
and competencies) Minimum Bachelors degree. Minimum three years experience in travel related job. Proven ability to work on movement related databases namely MiMOSA, i-GATOR and Amadeus. Knowledge of ticketing and related issues will be an asset. Strong analytical and problem solving skills required. Proven ability to work in a team and with counterparts at different levels. Ability to take independent initiatives. Knowledge of working on the computers especially MS office required.

Languages Thorough knowledge of Urdu and English.
