AGREEMENT FOR PERFORMANCE OF WORK (APW)
Industry: N.G.O./Social Services Category: Health & Medicine Job Type: APW ( First Shift (Day) ) Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree Title: Please refer to Job Description section for details Career Level: APW (Agreement for Performance of Work) Minimum Experience: 1 Year(Please refer to Job Description section for details) Purpose: To develop computer-based monitoring tool for programme management unit to collect and analyze information. Timelines: 03 Months Requirements: Tasks: - To develop a web-based monitoring tool/database for the country office projects including relevant information collection and dissemination plans using Microsoft Access, and/or Microsoft SQL, Python.
- Management of database activities, which includes primary responsibility to provide technical assistance in the conception and development of workflows, tables, graphs and other data formats including dashboard.
- Maintain the data server; including administration of Database, backups, and server migration.
- Update and consolidate files that make up the databases as necessary (e.g. to reflect changes in naming of sources and other supporting data and formulas related to indicators).
- Ensure proper integration of existing databases.
- As and when required, monitor performance and troubleshoot recovery procedures for the developed DBs (i.e., quality control)
- Collect, clean, and transfer of data received from various GSM users across the country.
- Provide updates on the progress of the work to the programme management officer on regular basis.
- To provide training to the users on that database.
- Develop the user guide on the use of the database.
- The database shall be the property of the WHO, the APW holder shall hand over all the related documents, codes, passwords, etc. to the respective WHO official.
Deliverables: - Counter signed contract – 0% payment
- Development of database – 25% payment
- Training to database users – 25% payment
- Completion of assignment and submission of final report along with handover of all related documentation to the respective WHO official. Payment 50%
Coordination and reporting: Programme Management Officer, WHO Pakistan Characteristics of supplier: Education: University degree in Computer Science. Experience: At least 1 year of practical experience in developing the computer-based databases. Knowledge of but not limited to Microsoft Access, and/or Microsoft SQL, Python Language: Working knowledge of English and Urdu language.
